Welcome to the Toy Train Operating Society of New Mexico web site.

On May 12  National Train Day, down at the Amtrak Alvarado Station in down town Albuquerque from 9 am to 4 pm. Also our spectacular "O" gauge train set will be present on the second floor, so bring some trains to run. See ya there!

Welcome to our website and it contains information about club events, pictures, links to train web sites, documents(how to), maps, train videos and the club news letter "The Fixed Voltage". If you have a question or concern please email the webmaster.

We are very diverse club with members from all walks of life and interest as well. Some members have two rail trains, super "O" trains, most are "O" gauge trains, prewar, post war and modern. We have swap meets, where you can buy, sell or trade train items of almost any type imaginable. At the swap meets, malls, conventions and other events you will most certainly have the pleasure to see our "O" gauge operating train set/layout that has won many award recognitions at the old GATS show. You will also get to meet the members of the club who are real train enthusiast.

The club also does charity work around the state and have done Christmas shows at the Presbyterian Childrens Hospital. Recently we built a train set as part of the Make a Wish Foundation here in Albuquerque, NM. The concept/idea was sponsored by Ed and Joyce, then other members volunteered their time, materials, knowledge, trains, engineering, craftsmenship and spirit to make this wish come true.  We are always open to new projects of this type.

We also welcome new members to join our club and to join in our activities (see our events page). Please see our documents page for applications to the local club and the national club as well.
